Made under the historic GERZ brand, this stein truly lives up to its name: made in traditional craftsmanship, it is an absolute masterpiece! 

After the stein has been hand-turned, hinged and painted in many steps, it receives its unique salt glaze in a special salt firing process, which keeps the beer fresh and cool for a particularly long time.

Included are a certificate and a booklet, which further inform about the history of the stein and its elaborate manufacturing process.

This Special Edition Stein was designed to mark the 425th anniversary of Hofbräu München in 2014. The elaborately handmade and fully painted relief pitcher shows the distinctive facade of the Hofbräuhaus München and the lively bustle of a historic flood. A HB-plaque is positioned at the center. An operator carrying HB-pitchers draws attention to himself. The coins on left - and right hand of the operator show the founder of the Bavarian Purity Law, which is celebrating its 500th anniversary in 2016 and the founder of the Hofbräuhaus. The opulent pure tin lid with beer coach stresses the peculiarity of the stein. Every stein is unique and has been personally numbered by the artist.
